Osmanl\u0131 Devleti\u2019nin temellerinin at\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 Bursa\u2019n\u0131n fethinin 699. y\u0131l d\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fc kapsam\u0131nda B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi Kent Tarihi ve Tan\u0131t\u0131m\u0131 Daire Ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 Kent Tarihi Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 ve Ar\u015fiv \u015eube M\u00fcd\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc taraf\u0131ndan “Orhan Bey ve Bursa’n\u0131n Fethi” konulu s\u00f6yle\u015fi d\u00fczenlendi. S\u00f6yle\u015fi \u00f6ncesinde konu\u015fan B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi Ba\u015fkanvekili Sinan Nergiz, 699 y\u0131l \u00f6nce yaln\u0131zca bir \u015fehrin fethedilmedi\u011fini, bir medeniyetin de kalbinin atmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. O kalbin ad\u0131n\u0131n da Bursa oldu\u011funu belirten Sinan Nergiz, \u201cOrhan Gazi \u00f6nderli\u011finde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen Bursa\u2019n\u0131n fethi sadece askeri bir ba\u015far\u0131 de\u011fil, bar\u0131\u015f\u0131n, adaletin, ortak ya\u015fam k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn temelinin at\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir milatt\u0131r.
